States such as Texas, Utah, and California are experiencing severe droughts. Could Xeriscaping be a solution to our droughts?

• Xeriscaping requires minimal watering, unlike sod
• Xeriscaping allows us to reduce the everyday cost of sod and grass maintenance
• Xeriscaping allows us to reduce the everyday gasoline used by mowers and leaf blowers, unlike sod
• Xeriscaping eliminates weeding necessitated by dichondra grass
• Many companies are involved in the manufacture and sale of Xeriscape flora

• This summer has brought very little rain to Southern California. No surprise there.
